News from Google: A 2x Faster Web
I read that Google makes a new HTTP, the protocol spoken by web browsers and servers. The other day they I learned that they’ve announced The Go Programming Language.
There’s this Google Wave thing too, possibly changing the way we’ll look on sharing documents, possibly killing the killer app email. Google probably knows more about our search and reading habits than any other company on earth, at least if we keep to real companies and don’t count the spy organisations.
Google maps is a fascinating collection of information about the earth, down to pictures of my car besides my house.
I am not one of those who has been very worried and I would very much like to keep it that way. The worst thing is that they are so damn good at what they’re doing! That scares me, actually.
